During the monitoring of the 2024 Common Entrance Examination in some schools in Lokoja, Mrs. Egbeneye Grace, the Director of Examination Admission and Certification at the Ministry of Education, highlighted the negative impact of late registration and failure to submit student details on the examination planning process. She noted that some private schools registered late or did not upload their student data on the website, making it challenging for the Ministry to accurately assess the number of students participating.
Addressing students at Saint Mary Primary and Holy Trinity Nursery Primary School in Lokoja, Mrs. Egbeneye encouraged them to remain focused and avoid engaging in examination malpractices. She emphasized that with dedication and hard work, they can excel in their chosen careers.
Mrs. Egbeneye expressed gratitude to the state Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for creating a conducive environment for the peaceful conduct of the examination.
